I couldn't believe my ears. But it was true, "Red House!!!". The familiar boom was followed instantaneously by a series of cheers and claps. Thunderous and mighty. Red house, made history, today. Under the marvellous leadership of Diana Nai, WE GOT CHAMPION HOUSE!! Yes, CHAMPION HOUSE. We haven't been so happy as a house since 1982. That's like, 25 years. I'm so happy for us.
We owe this victory to the wonderful red house COMM I guess. And our undying love and enthusiasm for this house with the fact we got our voices hoarse from all the screaming. Yes, I was blog-hopping for 3 hours, and came across many Reddies' blogs. Yes, it's a true state of euphoria I'd say. The triumph run at the end was simply marvellous. Poor COMM, had to run some 400m around the track after all those screaming and shouting.
On a contrary, from today's Sports' Day, I truthfully understand the meaning of true sisterly love. As you all know, the weather wasn't well today. It was raining. The merciless downpour wrecked the banners. When the rain stopped, Red COMM were like rushing towards the banners, helping to put them up. Yes, banners. They helped the other houses with their fallen banners. It was, you could say, a touching sight. Instead of having the whole COMM to tend to our banner, some members helped to put the other houses' banners back to their right states. It was like, WOW. Red house is LOVE.
